Apartment Renovation in Goudi, Attiki, Greece
2018-2019
Architectural Representation, Design, Construction, Supervision & Decoration
Between 2018 and 2019, our architectural firm was commissioned to renovate a 107 m2 former commercial office space in Goudi into a modern and functional apartment for rent.
Throughout the renovation process, we carefully considered the owner’s needs and preferences in order to design a space that was both functional and visually appealing. Our main objective was to create a cohesive living environment that seamlessly blended practicality and aesthetics.
In the process of transforming the former office space into a residential area, it was crucial to maintain both the functionality and identity of the new space. Thus, our architectural design focused on creating a welcoming, practical, and visually stimulating environment with a modern touch, while ensuring maximum user comfort.
The interior decor of the apartment features a modern style with subtle Greek influences, such as artwork by Moralis and Fasianos, and the discreet use of the Greek alphabet. White is the predominant color used on surfaces, which creates a striking contrast with the furniture colors and the wider color palette of the decoration.
To compensate for the lack of abundant natural light, we strategically designed the artificial light sources in a way that enhances visual comfort inside the house. This approach not only creates a pleasant atmosphere but also improves the functionality of every corner of the house.
