Architectural Representation, Design, Construction, & Supervision
Obtaining an operating license for a professional / commercial space can be quite challenging and requires a range of specialized services. This includes ensuring that the space is configured correctly to meet the necessary requirements and preparing a folder that fully complies with the bureaucratic process.
The architectural firm Sophia Emfietzoglou Architect undertook the processes of designing a modern beauty center in Chalandri and obtaining the necessary operating license. The process began with a study to design a functional and modern professional space that met the owner’s preferences. After analyzing the space and determining the necessary modifications, an implementation plan was developed, along with the required documentation to disclose the commencement of business activity and obtain the operating license.
As the property was previously a restaurant, we decided to completely redesign and reconstruct the interior spaces in order to meet the specific requirements of the beauty center. These requirements dictated that we create three specialized areas spread across the two levels of the establishment. On the ground floor, we created a makeup area that seamlessly blends into the reception and waiting area, as well as an area for hand and foot care. The first floor’s privacy allowed for the creation of a dedicated space for aesthetic care and tattooing.
The beauty center owner has a professional background as a makeup artist with specialization in theater makeup. Therefore, the renovation and reconstruction concept for the beauty center spaces was inspired by the lighting parameters of a theater stage. The design incorporated low general lighting and targeted light focus on functional spaces, creating a visual effect reminiscent of a theater stage while highlighting the functionality of the aesthetic service points.
