In 2024, Sophia Emfietzoglou Architectural Firm undertook the task of finding a professional space for the creation of a psychiatrist's office and its renovation. Taking into account the needs of our client, we identified the ideal property in a residential building in Kolonaki, characterized by both its external and internal features, as well as its central location, easily and directly accessible. In this context, our architectural firm provided comprehensive Real Estate services for finding a professional space, representation, design, interior design, and supervision of the implementation of the works. It is a ground floor space of 50 sqm, aiming to be transformed into a modern and functional professional environment, while preserving its classic charm.

We initiated the renovation by meticulously mapping out the space and understanding the client’s specific needs. With the client’s desire to preserve certain key elements in mind, we crafted a design that harmoniously blends classical aesthetics with modern touches, prioritizing both functionality and comfort. The waiting area, main consultation room, psychiatrist’s office, and bathroom were all thoughtfully designed to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for patients. This setup not only optimizes the flow of services but also enhances the sense of security, privacy, and comfort, effectively preparing patients through carefully curated visual stimuli.

The office’s decor was thoughtfully designed to emphasize its classical elements, such as the wooden flooring and ceiling cornices, while seamlessly integrating modern accents that bring a sense of freshness and elegance. Our interior design approach for this renovation centered on a color palette of earthy and soft tones, enhancing the ambiance of calm and harmony. Additionally, the spherical lighting fixtures we selected create a relaxing ambiance, making the space ideal for sessions. Each piece of furniture and decorative item was carefully selected to provide both comfort and functionality, creating a balanced interaction between modern elements for the patients and classical elements for the psychiatrist.
