Residence Renovation in Egaleo (130 m2), Attiki, Greece

In 2018-2019, our architectural firm undertook a complete residence renovation project of a 130 m2 apartment in Egaleo. Our responsibilities included conceptualizing the design vision, developing the architectural plans, supervising the construction process, and handling the interior decoration of the space. Our main objective was to create a contemporary and practical living space that would cater to the family’s requirements, while also imparting a cozy and inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and creativity.

The interior design was influenced by modern aesthetics while still prioritizing practicality and functionality. One of the key elements of the design was the incorporation of a functional home-office space in the spacious kitchen area. The living room was designed with a focus on music, thus reflecting the personal interests of the family members. Additionally, a dedicated space for musical instruments was created, adorned with music collections and corresponding decor.

In general, modern furniture with striking color tones was selected for the interior design of the renovated residence, seamlessly blending with the space’s aesthetics and providing a comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere. Carefully chosen artwork was hung on the walls to complement the overall vibe of the space and help shape its distinctive aesthetic identity.

To create a cozy and inviting ambiance, the house’s rooms were adorned with earthy hues and natural materials. The bedroom’s walls, in particular, were given a brick-like finish, fusing the industrial look with a modern, minimalist interior design. This effectively distinguished and defined the space dedicated to relaxation.
