Residence Renovation in Vyronas (73 m2), Bironas, Attiki

In 2021, a cozy residence measuring 73 m2 in Vyronas underwent a transformation, gaining a fresh and practical look with the help of Sophia Emfietzoglou Architect architectural firm. A couple, who had recently decided to create a home of their own, enlisted the services of our architectural firm for a complete renovation that encompassed architectural design, enhanced functionality, construction supervision, and full decoration.

Through the architectural design of the renovation, the interior layout of the residence was completely transformed to make the most of every square meter. The redesign of each room was tailored to the owners’ specific needs and desires, while the layout of the space was optimized to provide the utmost comfort and functionality.

By implementing the renovation design, the vertical surfaces were transformed into both functional and visually pleasing areas. This was achieved through the incorporation of clever storage spaces, as well as the strategic use of depth, which elevates the overall appearance and redefines the utility of the space. An excellent example of this is a versatile piece of furniture that serves as a wardrobe in the living room, a shoe cabinet with a convenient seat for the user, a closet with a mirror, and finally, seamlessly transforms into kitchen cabinets that also houses the kitchen appliances. 

Regarding the material used in this creation, the prevalent use of laminated wood creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Moreover, it also acts as a cohesive foundation for the color scheme, accentuating the visual appeal of the decor.

The main objective of renovating this dwelling was to provide a fresh outlook on the space, enhancing the quality of life for its inhabitants, while also increasing the value of the property.
