Residence Renovation in Koropi (100 m2), Attiki, Greece
2020
Architectural Representation, Design, Construction, Supervision & Decoration
Our architectural firm undertook the renovation of a 100 m2 residence in Koropi, with the goal of giving the apartment a fresh identity that would transform its appearance and pave the way for new, positive experiences.
Given that the owner has a professional background in design and visual arts, with a modern and youthful outlook, we made sure to take this into account during the surveying of the space and design phase. As a result, we created a new aesthetic philosophy with modern interior design that reflects the owner’s style and needs.
We aimed to maximize the functionality of the living spaces by using an integrated renovation design. Our approach involved shaping each room with the philosophy of creating a unique identity that reflects its individual characteristics.
When it comes to aesthetics, the white surfaces act as a blank canvas for the interior design. Bold colors and black-and-white contrasts highlight the stylistic details that define the modern look of the house. The dining table is elevated, placing it at the heart of the bright space, and is supported by the open layout of the kitchen. Meanwhile, the lowered living room space creates a sense of tranquility, with the shading perfectly balancing its intense brightness.
The renovation for all the other areas of the residence follows the same modern aesthetics and minimal design principles. The bedroom has been transformed into a peaceful haven without overwhelming visual elements, while the bathroom spaces combine simple yet striking design elements using contrasting materials and colors.
